When Lesley begins to work on a new T&U painting she first works out a theme. Often this involves discussions about possible settings and poses. Then she searches the blog for inspirational reference pictures. This work is currently under development. It will eventually have nine 3"x3" paintings mounted inside a larger frame.

Often I help out in the process by
making the frames, and now cutting
and sometimes gessoing the boards.

Uschi likes to be sure there is
a little of him imbedded in every painting.
(there are always Uschi furs)

Uschi keeps a close eye on quality control.
