Box-T

Tanji loves to sit in boxes: big boxes, little boxes, empty boxes, and sometimes full boxes. He can do a lot of things in a box: pounce on feathers, stalk his brothers, hide when he thinks he's been a bad boy, and even curl up for a "protected" nap.

Tanji happily sits in one of his boxes.

Vladi approaches...

Tanji's look tells us he's not ready to share his box.

So he leaves and...

finds a box lid to curl up in for a nap.

How I Got Here

Hmmmm ??? How did I get here?

I was exploring the woods,...

I spotted a nice little tree to climb,...

I soon got tangled,...
dad "rescued" me,...

I expressed my Vladi-tude because,...
dad rescued me.

I trotted off to do what I wanted to do,...

Mom came after me,...

and picked me up,...

"I'm a big Vladi, stop treating me like a baby,..."

I showed them, I ran and ran,...
and as I approached my favorite cherry tree,

I lept into the air

and climbed as fast as I could.

I dug my claws in and it felt good.

Ooooh yea,...

that is how I got up in this tree.

Uschi Lounging

Uschi got comfy on the top of the long dirt pile.

Its a nice high vantage point too watch over the yard.

Playing By The Pond

Uschi was strolling by the pond, when

Vladi ran from behind,...

and lept on him.

"Spring" Weather

Today, Summer came in with a vengeance,...
Record temperatures were recorded all over the state.

Tanji came in from his kennel and
flopped down just inside the door.

I think I'll just nap inside,...

Uschi found a cool sheet and sprawled.

By, 8pm the boys decided they wanted to try it outside,
it was still 95 degrees but we headed out.

Is anyone else coming out ?

It is kind of hot out here,...

Les and Vladi added some water to the pond,
i.e. played in the spray.

Vladi flopped on some cool mud,

then explored the shade of the blooming Lupines.

Tanji got his belly wet by the pond

I'm hot.

Uschi checked out the pond and

got a cool drink.

The family hangs out at the beach.

The temperatures are suppose to stay high for the next few days
then we should head back to our regularly scheduled 60-70s.

Trench Boys

Uschi and Vladi have been having a ball in the drainage ditches.
They get in them and run the entire length, chasing each other.

What are you doing?

Where did he go?

Hmmmm ?

Where did Uschi go?

Uschi checks out "top-side"

Vladi hunkers down in the cool moist trench.

But soon reaches the end.
