Bengal Buddies

Best friends

Just about every day with the boyz we think about how lucky we are we have TWO instead of one. No matter how much time we spend with them (and it is a lot of time), they still manage to spend many hours playing, cleaning, and cuddling together each day. We're pretty sure that in addition to being raised well before we got them, part of the reason they have been so good (no scratched furniture, accidents, meanness, etc.) is that they are always playing with each other or us, and this keeps them from becoming bored and looking for outlets for pent up energy/emotions.

The boyz have a special language they share - one little "bwrup" sound or "chirper chirper" brings the other one running over to see what is going on. When they were little kittens and one got a little nervous, the other would come right over and give a reassuring lick. We just can't duplicate that kind of bond.

Uschi wants a little attention...

and stretches out to Tanj.

Tanj puckers his lips...

and gives Uschi a good licking.
Happy Uschi,...

returns the favor.

All that licking...

has made the boys hungry...

So they lounge together
by the food bowls to send us
a subtle message.

After a big meal...

They move to the closet,
home of DaBird.

We don't seem to be getting the point...

So the boys move in closer

I can almost reach it Tanj!

Excellent!! Thank you so much for visiting and for your comment. Your comment has made it all worth it, not that it has been an effort. The "Growl Game" is so fun!!

When we were in the process of adopting the boys we read a story from a guy that got rid of his boys after they were neutered, because they were "fighting",... we now know this was the Growl game,... just part of being an energetic Bengal kitten.

Do your girls hiss? The boys get us laughing so hard when they are growling and hissing as they chase each other with fluffy tails.

Have fun!!!

OMG! When I first glanced at the photo of Uschi stretching out to Tanji-I marveled at your ability to catch Bengal flight on film! Still loved it though...
My first peek at the type of Bengal blog I was looking for! Thanks! Hope this actually sends. If so, Sheena (my rosetted one), and I will write more... about her, of course.
