New Friends

Les has a couple of "new friends" in her office

that we know the boys would like to meet,
but hopefully never will, because...

Vladi would pat,
Tanji would drool, and
Uschi would pounce...

Meet "Sandie" and "Brownie"
(we're still working on their names)
two 3-month old gerbil sisters.

They have a palatial cage which they
are apparently trying to shred to pieces.

Brownie is sweet and shy, with a BIG appetite.
She secretly likes to be pet.

Sandie is gregarious and good
at rearranging the cage furniture.

After a few days with these little balls of energy,
it is pretty clear that they would be high on a
Bengal Cat's list of "favorite prey." Even Les can't
resist trying to scoop them up every once in a while.
