We've been trying to think of ways to get the boys to drink more water. If they have their choice, they would much rather drink out of a pond, the bathtub, or glasses than their water bowls. All three love clean, moving water. Les researched a lot of different kitty water fountains, and tried to find one that would be easy to fill, easy to clean, small, and quiet. Vladi's birthday gave us an excuse to order some kitty goodies, and today they arrived... including a water fountain.

and cleaned it out, filled it with water, and plugged it in.

and spills over a plastic dome.
Come and get it boys!

(Its safe, the pump is way at the bottom under a plastic barrier)

Who is going to save the big boys?

Hopefully T, U, and V will all warm up to the fountain and visit it often
in addition to the bathtub and water bowl. We'll see.

That is so cute! They seem so interested in where the water is coming from, lol. Puddy would LOVE this, but I think she'd be too scared to drink from it - she'd just bat the water and make a huge mess! :D
Hi there! I love your blog. :) My Sadie bengal loves to drink water from a cup! We keep a cup of water on the coffee table for her at all times... she never drinks from her bowl of water next to her food.
Tanji gets into Lesley's water glass the second it isn't guarded. I now drink out of my sports bottles all the time. >;-)
I love drinking from my fountain. I have never seen one like that before!
Oooh, we would love one of those. We also love to drink from Mom & Nan'a water glasses. It just tastes better!
wow, the boys are on the cutting edge of water fountain technology, that one isn't even listed on the Catit company website yet!
Our cats love the various water fountains we've tried, even has the big dome catit fountain, but after a while the pump got difficult to keep clean (couldn't take the pump apart, algae started growing inside where you couldn't reach) so we switched to a different brand. I wonder if they fixed that issue with this new fountain.
Anyhow, happy hydrating boys!
