I love that your kitties can go outside so much and run. I am seriously thinking of getting a buddy for my bengal, Cheetah. At 4 1/2 years old he is tipping the scales at 17 lbs. We rescued him 2 years ago and I think he misses the company of other cats. Where he came from, he had 2 cat mates to run around with. Since we live in the city we can only take him outside on a leash so he is not getting the exersise that he used to. We are just finishing the construction of an exersise wheel, in hopes that we can train him to use it.
Our boys are pretty lucky (spoiled) that they get to go outside for ~1hr every day,... They get to open up and really rip around. Our house is only one room, so they spend lots of time on their wheel inside and banging in and out of the house into their secure kennel.
We decided to adopt two initially so they would have a playmate,... we just couldn't resist the opportunity when Vladi became available. Vladi has really helped with dynamics b/c he plays with Tanji, giving Uschi a brake.
