We would probably use the same silverware and dishes over and over for our own food, but the boys' dishes need to be washed clean every time. Today the whole top level was dedicated to cat bowls, dishes, and plates. Its probably the main reason we run the dishwasher.Tuesday, April 19, 2011

Oooooh...I like those colored square plates! Where did you get them? Are they plastic or ceramic? We have a bit of a breakage problem at our house. :(

The originals came from Safeway and the more recent additions from Fred Meyer's. They are 100% Melamine and dishwasher safe. The plates are seasonal for pick-nicks and such, i.e. not pet specific.
Looks like home, we have 4 bengals and now 2 foster bengals. Two of them eat 4 times a day, the others 3 times a day. I use corelle sauce dishes and dessert plates so you can imagine how many I go through in a day. Our tiny bit of dishes could sit in the dishwasher for a week if not for the cats.
Cute colors! We just have one little white porcelain sauce bowl per kitty, so I wash them between meals. Keeps them from stacking up on me. ;)
