Holy Cow! He was all over that birdie. Now I feel really small for laughing at V, for hanging out by the bird feeder, thinking he would never catch a bird. I bet the brothers are grooming him tonight!
He actually caught it on the ground in some shrub-grass. This time of the year is when we have lots of Towhees coming through,... probably the same species that Tanji caught a few years ago.
The last picture is so lovely!
