Golden Tanji

Usually the boys don't sleep in the sun,

But lately Tanji has been dozing in the late-day rays,

Flat, content, and warm at the end of the day.

Sun Spot

Our Bengal Brothers typically avoid the sun,
preferring to sleep in the shade. It could be because
we keep your little, well insulated house pretty warm,
dreaming of a trip to a tropical location,... >;-)

So it was surprising to catch our

Snow in the sun.

Oooo, this feels good.

It is difficult to photograph Vladi when he is in the sun,
he comes out over exposed in most pictures.

Sunny Boy

One of the first things Vladi did when he came home was find all of the good sunny spots. He travels to them at various times of day, cleans up, stretches out, and takes little cat-naps. Once he heats up, he heads to cooler locations and sleeps soundly. Now the little man is cute all of the time, but he is simply stunning in the bright sun, where his glittery fur becomes prismatic and he gets all relaxed and happy...

Vladi is all chirpy like a little bird
ands kneads the fleece like crazy.

He's getting comfy...

and its time to nap.

A little later, Vladi finds a new sunny spot.

Sun-Spot

It is cold outside (~15F), but the sky is clear and the sun is flooding through the south windows. The boys have been spending a lot of time in their kennel, then running back inside to rub their cold fur on our warm skin. Tanji finally tired of this and found a nice place in the sun to stretch out and enjoy soaking up the rays.

Sunspots (& Swirls)

As the sun gets long in the sky each day, it streams in our West facing windows creating long swaths of bright-warmth across the house. The boys regularly find these locations and happily plop down, apparentlyto de-stress from the tough lives they lead.

Uschi enjoys the sun on the bed,

while Tanji catches some rays on the floor.

Uschi appears delirious in the sun,

while Tanj looks ready for more action.
