Even though the weather has been in the balmy 70 degree range, the boys are still adjusting to the increased temperatures and like to sit in shaded areas. This afternoon they found a little shade next to the fast-growing tansy (Tanacetum vulgare) patch.
Both boys intently watch the red-winged blackbirds(Agelaius phoeniceus), and finches on the nearby feeders.
The birds spotted the kittens and flew off,so the boys look for something else to watch.
