June Hail

We have been busy watering the "strips" and have been looking forward to this week's forecasted rains. Today while at work the sky was dark and it rained, but we figured that at home it wasn't raining. When we got home we spotted piles of hail around the base of some plants...

and piled in the large Fatsia japonica leaves.

We decided to take a walk around to see how
the other plants handled the hail.

The fields of lupin looked fine.

as did the daisies.

When we got back to the house we were informed that
we had forgotten some one...

The boys greeted Lesley...

Hi Moooom,...

T made "T-squares"

and U made "Uschi-squares"

T nuzzled the wire.

Happy boys.

I think you forgot to take me out,...

Don't let it happen again !!

Wow that hail looks impressive! It sort of looks like little white stones rather than ice. And in the last picture, the kitty looks like a leopard! Cute pics, I really love your blog. :)

I'm glad the hail didn't do any damage to the flowers. Don't forget to take the boys out.

we don't get to stop by as often as we'd like to be able to, but we always catch up on all your pictures - they're the best!
