Breathing Exercises

Daaad,... ? What are you doing?

It is well established that I'm a nut-ball, when it comes
to training and researching ways to ethically enhance my
athletic performance. In addition to training hard & smart,
some endurance athletes attempt to perform at a higher level
by including altitude training. This is in an attempt to increase
the number of red blood cells in the blood and therefor
deliver more oxygen to the working muscles,...
enhancing performance.

There are several theories on techniques. Each have
positives and negatives and also different $$ thresholds.

I came across a method of Intermittent Hypoxic Training (IHT)
developed by the Russian pilots program in the 1940s, where you
drop your blood's saturated oxygen concentration to 75-80% for
6-minute intervals, all the while monitoring with a
pulse-oximeter. This level of saturated O2 drop is
approximately equal to what would be experienced
at 20-25,000 feet in elevation.

This is interesting,...

May I "train" too?
I want to keep up with Tanji.

Oooo, I like this training method.

I feel faster already.

Ooo baby,... This is a good interval session.

I feel invigorated.

Now I'm ready,... Grrrrr

Want to race Tanji ?
