Chinese New Years Eve

This weekend we are saying good-bye to the year of the Dragon.

The boys are getting extra mushing, especially our little dragon Tanji.

We did a bit of cleaning, and now get to enjoy
each other's company and cook holiday food.
 
Starting with Udon noodle soup...
 The veggies are steaming in the wok.

Fried dumplings added to the mix...

And plenty of dips and sauces for fun.

The Dragon year was wild,
with plenty of good fortune for the year to come.

 
Tanji is curled up on the blanket, red for luck,
we're ready for the year of the Snake.
