Bad Baby Cat

This morning during our beat-the heat early morning walk,
Vladi slipped over the fence into our neighbor's grass field. This
was an upsetting event (for all of us), so its recovery nap time.

It took a while for Vladi to relax in the safety of a lap.

Now he's sound asleep with a big smile.
We're going to need a closer eye on our little escape artist.

I wonder -- Did Vladi's escaping into the neighbor's field have anything to do with your practicing the guitar? ;-]

We do not know,... He probably climbed one of the wood corner fence posts, and just plopped down on the wrong side of the fence when dismounting.

We couldn't find him,... but eventually heard him cry when walking/calling along the West fence-line,...

I spotted him on the other side of the fence, hopped the fence and he came to me,... it was hot and he was stuck exposed in the sun,... I scooped him up and placed him on our side of the fence and he ran to the shade of a big tree. We regrouped and carried him home where he was happy to be reunited with his family.

quite adventurous indeed! this sounds like he might have spotted something moving - f.i. the famous snake of some days ago...? -, jumped down to inspect and then found himself totally lost & disoriented (not the usual, well known odors ecc.)
he/you were really lucky that he cried aloud, so that you could finally find him

a big big grown baby he is he - but not bad, just too curious maybe. cheers to the whole family!
