In the evening the sun beams just reach Uschi's wheel.

He is as happy as can be.

We tried to clean it inside but it didn't work so well,... So,

Uschi was sleeping with "his" Santa pillow,...

(Yes, it is still out, and the "M" labels it as my childhood Santa pillow,
my sister's Santa pillow has a "J")

What is that noise?,... Who is on my wheel?

Nope, T-grrr is asleep on the red blanket.

That means it must be "hiiimmm",...

Vladi happily strolls along on Uschi's wheel.

Quiet "Singing"

So far, we have been unsuccessful in
capturing Uschi's loud "singing",...

This is just him quietly "singing."
He does this on and off for hours on end.

Uschi Wheel Videos

Yesterday we received our Kodak Zi8 HD 1080p
"pocket video camera."



Uschi wanted to be the first to test it out.

These were shot in low light at 720p.

He is on "his" wheel many hours every day/night,
walking, running, sleeping, mushing, purring, "singing".

Add-On: The boys have had wheels since they were
just little kittens. We are not sure if adult cats
would take to using an exercise wheel, but our boys
just love to walk, run, sleep, etc. on their wheel.

Uschi Warming Up

Uschi warming up on his wheel to go outside.

When we get too close to him, he always
stops walking and "loves" his wheel.
(listen for the purring at the end)
He also gives me the "shake."

Back inside, U-y's wheel was squeaking

so it had to be taken apart, again, and worked on.

I teased him, telling him his wheel was broken
and was going to be taken out of service,...
This was a bit stressful for Uschi

who passed out at the prospect,...

I got the wheel back in service in just a few minutes.

But Uschi spent the rest of the evening

in the cat-cup, recovering.
