It has happened gradually over a week's time, Tanj and Usch have come to accept Vladi into the household. We are so proud of them because they didn't have much territory to share to begin with, and they have tolerated a little kitten desperate for cat-play, especially wrestling. For the most part, Vladi leaves Uschi alone except for brief chases in the early morning and evening. Sure Uschi hisses on occasion, but the whole family sees right through it, as he inches closer to the action. Tanj on the other hand, is letting Vladi chase him around several times a day and has even started chasing him back a little. Over the last two days, this has even included a little gentle wrestling...
Tanj and Usch release a little pent-up emotion with a wrestle...

It hasn't really taken that much time for Tanj or Uschi to get used to their new little brother. I think you can be extremely pleased with the way T. and U. have been.
Let's see what happens when my new boy comes. ;) I'm going to get him on the 28th. I bet Vilma (female) will not accept him as soon as T. and U. did!
Wow, this gives me a faint hope that my 9 year old Bengal girl might tolerate a new kitten in the next five years or so. She used to be the 'lovebug' at the breeder's house, but she was so sick when I got her I didn't dare get a second kitty....as it was, it took us four months to resolve her illness, and by then she was extremely territorial of the house. She still goes ridgeback and pufftail at the sight of another cat out the window.
