We got T & U a cat wheel before they even came home to live with us, hoping they would run on it regularly and use up a little of that amazing Bengal cat energy. Although Tanji and Vladi like the wheel, there is no doubt that it belongs to Uschi. If Uschi is awake (and sometimes even when he is asleep), he is on the wheel, next to the wheel, or gazing at the wheel longingly from across the room. Sometimes when Uschi is sleeping, Tanji and Vladi get a short run in, but they know to get off if Uschi arrives to see what is going on.Sometimes late at night (long after midnight),Uschi will walk steadily on the wheel for an hour or more
while the rest of family is sound asleep.
Uschi is happily strolling along, sometimestrilling and chirping quietly to himself.
Uschi's tail is up, it is time for a quick sprintto get warmed up for the 5 a.m. wake-up call.
Maybe if I go the other direction,...
