Vladi Jumps Into The Pond

Today the boys were totally pumped up when we went out.
They were ripping all over the place and Vladi
headed straight out to the pond like yesterday,
unfortunately I didn't have a camera.

He was cruising as fast as he could go,
heading for the shore at a very high speed,
I didn't think he would be able to stop as he approached.
Then at the last second he slammed on the brakes and stopped.

I thought "wow that was close,..."
then all of a sudden he lept into the air
and splashed down into the pond.

I was in shock.

It was like watching a Labrador Retriever jumping
into the water after a stick.

He just launched in,
I almost fell down laughing,
then when I didn't see him come flying
back onto shore I ran over.

He was standing in the shallow water,
then he shot up on shore all wet.
He just stood there.

I ran over to him and scooped up the
little white dripping wet Vladi.

He seemed stunned.
It is only about 40 degrees and the water is cold
so I rushed him home, laughing all the way.

We tried to towel dry him but he wanted to do it himself.

I've got to catch this on "film" next time.
