Its been a beautiful and busy summer.
I used to wonder what people meant by time flying, now I get it.
The daylight hours are getting shorter again...
...and the grasses have yellowed in the heat of the summer.
Dragonflies are mating...
and depositing their fertilized eggs in the ponds.
We've had more dragonflies this year than any before.
This adult has already passed away, but we are looking forward
to seeing all the new nymphs next spring.
