Irresistible

Lately on our walks, Uschi has been spending
the most time close to the house, which makes
picking him up and hugging, totally irresistible.

Look out Uschi!

Hey, not fair, I was resting!

He's so soft and substantial, like a big teddy bear.

Oh no, not again!

Man, I am WAY too adorable.

Uschi is relaxing, this is his Dad after all,
and he adores his Daaaaaadddddd.

Happy Uschi.

Grading Papers

If you are on the floor, even busy grading papers,
Vladi figures you are there to pet him profusely.

Someone is getting pretty mushy.

 Rub, rub, rub.

 He's inch-worming closer and closer.

Did you want something Vladi?

That's the stuff!

Vladi's tired after all that grading.

Glam for the Camera

Uschi has figured out that he gets maximum attention
if he perches at eye level.  The top of the car is perfect.

We suspect that he is posing,
every photo of Usch is usually a winner.

Bam! Take a picture.

Every angle works.

Full on glamour for the camera.

Oops, Uschi is down...

This happens only when one person approaches...

Yep, its Daaaaadddddddd.

Not only can Uschi be admired, he can also watch the
world go by behind the safety of his gate.

O.K.that's apparently enough photos for now,
we are getting the back stripe view.

Uschi of the Jungle

Sometimes Uschi's swirls and stripes are
the perfect camouflage, especially when he
is sauntering through the oak grove.

Nobody can see me in here...

So I'll get up high.
Taaahhh-Daaahhhh!

Blue Powderhorn Home

In addition to becoming a two-car family,
we are also about to become a two-home family,
with the addition of the blue Powderhorn townhouse.
The offer has been accepted, and today was the
inspection for the mortgage, so we took lots of photos.

Wait, he is not an inspector, just a wanna be,... >;-)

There are a lot of nice features like a large yard,
wood ceilings, granite counter-tops, powder room,
and a walk-in closet.
The boys would probably love to race on the wood floors
and zoom up and down the stairs, but they despise car rides,
so this may remain a cat-free zone for now.
So we took home a Vladi-cake to celebrate,
and Vladi ate lots of frosting.

What to Do?

When the boys first go outside, there is often that moment
where they are clearly deciding what to do...
Run around the house?  Hunt voles?
Climb a tree?  Explore the trails?
Tackle a brother?

Vladi's tail tells us he's made a decision...

 Romp in the spring grass!

Not Always a Wild Man

Tanji can be a real wild man,
but he is also a total mush...

T's got to be uncomfortable lying on the power cords,
but an ear tickle makes it worthwhile.

His soft little kitten face gives him away.

Meeting Veronica

We now have two cars in the family,
here is "Veronica the $1000 Volvo."
We waited to see the boys' reaction...

Tanji arrived first, tentatively circling his prey.

A quick tail wiggle and Tanji is on his way
to check out all of his favorite spots.

Here come Uschi...

For meeeeee???

Spring!

I can't admire my reflection in the hood.

Ah a clean window, that's better.

The prettiest hood ornament possible.

Here comes Vladi...

 For meeeeee?

Spring!

 Is anybody in there?

Another level to explore...

Vladi is super-excited and talking up a storm.

Did you guys see this?  I found a car!

What do you mean, its not for me?

 MINE!
