Well, Tanji keeps a very close eye on Lesley,...
He herds her to bed, and when she gets up
in the middle of the night he goes right along with her.
Recently we noticed that when Tanji is more agitated,
sniffs her head as she sleeps, meows at her while
she is sleeping, and sleeps by her head,...
she tends to have migraine symptoms the next day.
We are choosing to believe he is sensing something
and not causing it with his actions,... >;-)

Lesley can not make a move with out Tanji knowing it,...
he only appears to be sleeping,...
Any motion and he is up and ready for action.

Oh, I'm sorry she is plagued with those dreadful headaches. I completely believe Tanji is sensitive to the symptoms he can sense with her oncoming malady. Animals have so many more sensing powers than we do. He is wise to her problems and obviously wants to take care of her.
so sweet, so empathic
Wow! I've seen news reports about dogs sensing when their owners will have an epileptic seizure and alerting them so that they will be safe. It's still a mystery, but it confirms what I have always thought about animals: They are so much more attuned to us than we are to them. However, having said that, you folks are very attuned to your beasties, too. It's a thing of beauty!
