The family has been "stuck"

inside for the past week or so

because the local grass-seed fields

are pumping out the pollen.

We all seem to be reacting to it this year.

We were all coming in with

rheumy eyes and itchy runny noses.

So we decided to keep indoors and limit our adventures.

Plush Sleeping Arrangements

Ever since we rearranged the furniture

Uschi has taken up a new sleeping place.
His position has evolved since he first took over this spot.

He drapes over the back of the couch.

He seems relaxed (in the center of all activity).

He even has a pillow for his tail.

That is a lot of plushness,...

Uschi's Winter Garden

It may be slushy and cold outside, but
Uschi is happy and warm in his Vera Bradley garden:
quilted purse, tennis bag, and placemat.

Some of Uschi's fur may travel with Les to work,
but no one can refuse Mr. Plush his Bradleys.

Favorite Blanket

Vladi has a favorite blanket, he likes to knead on it (making biscuits) until he runs out of energy and falls asleep. Sometimes the blanket gets covered in stuff, things can get pretty cluttered in a one-room house and Les' "work station" is the ottoman the blanket partially covers. As soon as the area gets cleared, Vladi pounces on his blanket...

Oh boy, oh boy!

Oh yeah, that's the stuff!

Maybe the plush fabric feels like fur.

A quick spin and Vladi is back at it...

Its been nearly 15 minutes and he's looking a little tired.

All tuckered out, its time for a nap.
