I'm a Good Boy, Sort of...

Les got floral wrapping paper for her Mom's Christmas gift,
Uschi LOVED the paper and it got a bit mangled during the
wrapping process. You can barely see a paw print on the scrap above.

Today Les brought the paper out as a color reference for a new
painting, and decided to let Uschi have the paper to play with...

Here you go Usch, you can have this...

This feels like a test, I'm a good boy!

Uschi stares, and stares, but doesn't touch the paper.

Vladi doesn't hesitate. Pat, pat, pat.

Look Uschi, my head fits in here!

Uschi doesn't look impressed.

I'm a good boy, I can resist temptation.

Later we heard a rustling noise...

Uschi was happily sitting with his head under the paper.

What About Tanji?

Sometimes Usch & Vlad get more camera/blog time
than Tanji, our super mush. When we are outside,
Tanji is often walking Lesley,... "Team Meow-Me."

While "inside" T is either running in and out of the kennel,
"protecting" us from all of the little animals wandering outside,
or cuddled up sleeping next to us on the sectional or bed.

Adore me,... please.

Something is stinky here.

Les is full-on painting and there will be several paintings for sale at the bengalized.com website, and maybe eBay or Etsy in the months to come. The latest painting features Vladi in an enigmatic Mona Lisa-like pose, because a lot is going on in that little head of his.

There are flowers to try to balance the Vladi cuteness,

and peaches, because he is a little sweetie.

The eyes in the painting are always staring at you,
just like the real thing!

Of course Vladi helped the whole way...

Happy New Year 2009

Fireworks Panorama

Last night the family stayed up to watch coverage of New Year's Eve celebrations around the world, the ball drop at times square, and then the fireworks our neighbors set off at midnight. Well, Uschi watched fireworks from the bed, while Tanji, Vladi, and I slept, and Les painted. Today it is pouring rain (finally normal winter weather for us), and a great day to nap.

All three boys sleeping on the same chaise,
the new year is already off to a great start.
