What Goes In,... Must Come Out

The boys always eat grass when outside. A few
minutes later the undigested grass typically re-emerges.

This looks like a good patch of grass,

Mmmm grass.

Ooooo, my stomach feels funny.

I don't feel so good.

Yyyuuuckkk,...

Brrrrrraaaaaappppp,....

Aaaaacckkkk,...

Rrrraaaalllpppphhhh,....

Woooo Hoooo, now I'm ready to fly.

I love the picture of Vlad leaping away with his heels kicked up!
I wonder what it is about grass? If they eat it they toss it.
I found my little gang loves Romaine lettuce. I think it satisfies the green thing and they don't throw it up. I buy the organic heads for my salads and they are always waiting for their piece. They know the sound of the veggie drawer in the frig.

Interesting on the lettuce, we should give that a try. I believe Lesley read someplace that eating grass helps them clear hair and such that gets into their digestive tract. All three eat grass and all three then puke it up.

The only cat I have ever come across who doesn't yak after eating grass is Mickey - http://mickeytheblackcat.blogspot.com/.
He loves it and his human hand feeds it to him. No one is really sure why cats eat grass, but the best bet is what Lesley said, it's like a sort of digestive cleanser:) xxx
