Apocalypse Armageddon Anniversary

Well not only was today the end of the Mayan calender
and winter solstice, Mark and I also celebrated our 21st
anniversary, that's right on 12-21-2012, the
darkest day of the year.  Epic.

Blog followers know we have had some struggles;
but strength, stubbornness, and a good dose of friendship
have kept the journey going.

 No matter what the future holds, our boys are always
going to be spoiled rotten.

To celebrate the end of an era and adventures to come...

 A feast to warm the belly.

 And a chocolate fountain to swirl in.

A bonfire to chase away the darkness.

 And plenty of good cheer.

This year "phoenix from the flames" makes perfect sense.

 The embers twinkle like tiny stars.

 Watchcat Tanji thinks we've had enough time in the cold,
its time to head inside.
