Vegas Holiday

I know, when you think of Christmas, the first thing that pops in the
mind may not be Las Vegas.  But it is magic during the holidays!

People come from all over the world, everywhere you go you
can hear different languages, and there is palpable holiday spirit.

The strip is dressed up in snowflakes...

...and beautiful color lights.

Inside its just as beautiful, like entering a fantasy world.

This is like catnip to someone who love Christmas (and I do!).

Vegas sparks creativity, its a sensory feast.

Oh, and the buffets; whimsy and delight captured in food,
and the holiday treats the chefs think up are mind-boggling.

I could spend a lot of time here just drawing and painting
(there are more bento boxes at the Merry Bright blog),
but my mind always slips back to the boys waiting at home.

Here is a Tanji, sitting all tall and proud.

This has got to be Vladi: little, fluffy white, and cute.

And well, this must be Uschi in sight of a camera :)

No matter how thrilling vacation destinations are,
home is where your heart is.
