The boyz were out exploring the mowed regions in the "conifer forest." Tanji got all excited, more than usual,... and was acting wild, more than usual. Then I realized he was tracking with great intent. A few minutes later he took off with something dangling from his mouth,... I ran after him, and he did his best to avoid me. Every time I got close he would shoot off. Finally I got ahold of his harness. It turned out that he had found a dead snake, no head or tail.
Tanji protects his prey,...I guess he is more of a scavenger in this case.
