The boys regularly stop at their scraggly patch of cat-nip. The other day they camped out there and munched. They were munching on the mint, dry flowers, grass, etc. Tanji's eyes were watering by the end and I had to pull them both out of there.

Giant Black Snake
We have a 10ft piece of plastic drain pipe/tile laying on one of the trails to be buried under/across the trail to help keep the water level down during our winter rains. Well the boys came across the pipe the other day and were not sure about it.

Hardwood Chips
When I had the boyz litter delivered, I also had 3 yards of hardwood chips delivered so I could put down a new layer of sidewalk. At first the boyz were totally scared of the chips and my actions speading them out, but after a bit, they got use to them and investigated.
Tanji isn't sure,...
and side-steps the new sidewalk.
Eventually the boys
made it out to the main pile.
Uschi wants to see where they are going,

Litter By The Yard
After digging out the kennel, I had 3 yards of coarse "concrete" sand delivered. I figured this coarse sand would be good digging media for the boys in their kennel. With the added benefit to me that it should remain relatively uncompacted, i.e. easier digging when it is time for refreshing. I only put three wheel barrow loads into the kennel so there is a good sized tarped pile remaining.
went right up it,
and seemed to really enjoy having
his feet sink deep into the loose dirt.
Tanj gave the pile a sniff,
decided he was a bit scared of it
and ran off into the conifers in search of his snake.
Uschi continued to play in the dirt,
while Tanji was retrieved with a leash.
It's all right T,... that's your dirt,...
Tanj is coaxed onto the pile,
and makes it to the top,
